Sri Appayya Deekshita wrote some of the most divine Siva stuti-s.
Margabandhu stOtram is one among them.

Manasollaasam is a composition of Sri Appayya deekshita, in which he instructs his own mind to deepen bhakti on Siva and also to attain vairaagyam.

The foregoing SlOkam is one such.

Meaning in brief:
"There is a hunter - by name Siva - staying up there on the summit of The Hill. He hoodwinked you into illusion and took away your great wealth of eternal bliss. If in any of your 'paths' you run into Him by a stroke of divine Grace, tie Him up with ropes of invocation. He would then give back the 'wealth' that your heart has been longing for."

What a beautiful bhaavam!!
