दीपावळि:

రామేణాభిమతం మోక్షం - కృష్ణేన నరక చ్యుతిః |
గోవిందస్మరణాత్ ప్రాప్తాః - శ్రియో దీపావళీరివ ||

रामॆणाभिमतं मॊक्षं - कृष्णॆन नरकच्युतिः ।
गॊविंदस्मरणात् प्राप्ताः - श्रियॊ दीपावळीरिव ॥

  3. Dear Sri T Sekhar, here is the meaning of the SlOkam:

    By Raama (means by Sri Raama's grace), the most fundamental desire (of every jeeva), viz. mOksha is obtained.
    By Krishna (means, by grace of Sri Krishna), we are blessed with annihilation of naraka (the pun 'naraka' denotes hell as well as narakaasura, the demon).
    (Thus,) by the smaraNa of Govinda, we are blessed with series of 'riches' (occasions to celebrate) like a series of deepams (deepaavaLi means the name of the festival as well as 'series of deepam-s').
